The Huajes Valley Network of Innovando la Tradición

The Huajes Valley Networkis an initiative of Innovando la Tradición, to support their efforts to increase the symbolic, economic and cultural value of Oaxacan pottery.

Innovando la Tradición is a multidisciplinary non-profit and a sustainable design project providing a creative platform where artisans, designers and artists share skills, knowledge and stories to rethink and honor the ceramic traditions of Oaxaca. The organization offers services to potters and pottery communities in Oaxaca to support the development and continuation of their craft.

The Huajes Valley Network is working to make the Four Movements a reality over the next ten years. These four strategic ideas are the synthesis of the path to a sustainable future for potters in Oaxaca.
