Enjoy the soft shape and mysterious color of the Jarra Bartola, one of the Colectivo 1050º classics. Made by Silvia García, in San Bartolo Coyotepec, this jug is the product of a design workshop in 2008. Since this product became a bestseller and was featured in MoMA Store, Silvia has been able to improve her working conditions and include other members of ther family in the workshop.
Black clay, traditionaly used for storing water and mezcal, owes its color to traditional firing techniques. It’s pure clay, with no additives.
