Proud Mary for Tilonia® collection was a collaborative design project between Harper Poe, founder of Proud Mary design studio and Hatheli Sansthan, producer of the Tilonia® collection of artisan-made products.
Proud Mary for Tilonia® is inspired by Harper's work with global textile artisans but re-interpreted to work with Indian block printed textiles. Having never worked with printed fabrics, it was exciting for her to be able to translate graphic iconography and woven stripes to a printed medium. Combining modern design elements with traditional craft techniques is the essence of her design approach.
