Sonica Sarna Design - Star Ornament - Green

Handwoven fabric remanants are sewn and hand stitched by the women of ProjecThrive, the sewing center for women run by Sonica Sarna Design. Based amidst the slums surrounding the industrial area in New Delhi, ProjecThrive trains women from these slums in sewing, cutting, quality control and packing.

This fabric has been handwoven by weavers of Kamalapuram and designed by Sonica Sarna. The star ornaments are a piece of the handloom textile heritage of India and made from natural dyes.
