After a decade working in international development, Megan Reilly Cayten founded Catrinka to financially empower women and girls so that they can have control over their own lives. Catrinka product designs marry indigenous textiles from Mexico and India with locally sourced fine leather and materials. Megan works directly with women artisans to create the textiles used, and with women in two small production workshops to handcraft Catrinka bags. Catrinka designs and makes durable, hand crafted products with a soul, and a story, for all of us who believe the future is female.
