Eco Tasar began as a livelihood promotion project by Pradan, an NGO based in Jharkand, one of the poorest states in India. Eco Tasar creates livelihoods for more than 1900 silkworm rearers, spinners and weavers.
Tussar is a natural silk produced by silkworms grown in the forest, as they do not feed on plucked leaves. The yarn produced from this wild silk is handwoven to create this exquisite silk throw.
Available in gold and cream or in teal and cream handwoven silk.
